AIR and Doordarashan Programmes will be stalled
Visakhapatnam, September 21, 2004

In a statement issued by the Programme Staff Association secretary PV.Ramgopal said transmission in AIR and Doordarashan will be stopped from Monday onwards. The Programme staff plays a key role in designing and organizing programmes. They claimed that the programme executives could not get promotions for the past 16 years. Despite several representations to the Government, no positive response came forward. They demanded for immediate action in extending the promotions to the eligible staff.

After seven years, the CBI named three IAS officers as accused in the case. The CBI Court Judge, CSD.Vijaya Kumar granted bail.
