Kanakamahalakshmi Shareholders to get 15 per cent dividend

Kanakamahalakshmi Cooperative Bank Chairman P.Raghunadharao said that the bank earned net profit of Rs.65 lakhs after allotting reserves for the period 2003-04. The Board has declared 15 percent dividend to its share holders. On the eve of the 5th Anniversary he said that the Bank has 2598 shareholders.
The bank could able to mobilize deposits worth Rs.27.43 crores and extended loans to a tune of Rs.18.96 crores. The bank proposes to open a branch at NAD Kotha Road. In the meeting the Bank vice-Chairman K.Rambabu and other bank directors spoke.

Young World quiz

The Hindu-Young World Quiz 2004 will be conducted at the Port Kalavani Auditorium in the VPT Sports and Cultural Complex on the NH5 on Monday. The preliminary round will take place at 2pm and main quiz time will start at 3.30pm.
Participating children in teams are requested to report at the venue from 12noon onwards, with their admit cards, without which they will not be allowed inside. The auditorium will be closed by 1.30pm.
Dasari Sreenivasulu, Vice-Chairman and Special Officer of VUDA who is the chief guest will distribute pries at 4.30pm. The programme is sponsored at the national level by Eveready, the title sponsor, Britannia Industries, Coco Cola, Competition Success Review, SifyiWay, Canara Bank, Reynolds, ITC Expressions, The Excel Media will give a deferred telecast of the event on the same day and Siti Cable will telecast it from 5.30pm on Wednesday.
