Railway Booking clerk taken into custody
Visakhapatnam, September 9, 2004

A booking clerk at the Railway Station was taken into custody by the RPF for allegedly selling train tickets in black. The accused Ch.Chowdhry was selling the tickets outside when he was nabbed by the RPF and recovered 16 tickets to various outstations and Rs.11, 000/- cash.

Land development project launched
Visakhapatnam, September 9, 2004

The major project is being launched in the district to physically examine the assigned land distributed to the poor. The three year Comprehensive Land Development Project would be launched on November 19th with a total outlay of Rs. 33.8 crores, The District Collector, Praveen Prakash, told a press conference on Thursday. He said the NABARD will fund the project to the extent of Rs.17.5 crores with 7.5 crores coming under the Rural Development Infrastructure Development Fund.

Wage revision for Indian Railways

Visakhapatnam The accounts staff of the Indian Railways will get revised wages along with arrears with effect from November 11th, 2001 as per the arbitration award according to the East Coast Railway Shramik Union, Ch.Gandhi.

The products of Rayon Paints, a unit of Radha Madav Engineering Enterprises, were launched here on Thursday by the Director (Commercial), Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Y.Siva Sagar Rao. The Deputy General Manager (O & M) of NTPC Simhadri, PV.Bhaskararo and the Managing partner of RMEE, VT.Bhaskararao were present.
