VUDA scheme extended

The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority has extended the benefit of its two thirds penal interest reduction and two percent incentive on balance principal amount to its allottees upto December 31st this year. This scheme applies to the allotters of VUDA housing colonies and layouts who come under the quarterly installment category.

New Building for BSNL

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, the secretary of the temple committee, E.Ramana said apart from panchamruthabishekam, Ganapati Homam, and other special pujas, alankaram in the evening in various forms of Ganapati would be a special feature.

Federation of District Consumer Society Organizing Secretary GV Narasimham expired on Tuesday morning due to ill health. As Federation Secretary for the past five years, he extended excellent services for the consumers welfare and majority of the consumer problems like cooking gas, bus passes etc., The FEDCO chairman Chapa Kumar expressed deep shock over his demise.

Each APSRTC ticket purchased at the 15 eSeva centers in and around the city a concession of Rs.8 will be given. The step has been taken by the joint collector and Additional Director of eSeva services, Peeyush Kumar to promote sale of tickets through eSeva centers and benefit passengers.

The Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, PV Subba Rao will hold the 48th divisional Dak Adalat at 11am on October 18th. The Adalat will take up complaints and grievances relating to mail, speed post articles, parcels, counter services, savings bank, money orders and embezzlement. The grievances should be sent on or before 5th of October.
