Gang raped student dies in hospital
Visakhapatnam, October 9, 2004

A Junior College Studying in a Women's college in Anakapalli was gang rapped a few days back. She was found in an unconscious state beside a railway track near AMAL College on Wednesday night. Some students found her and took her to the nearby NTR 100-Bed Hospital and left away. The doctors found her situation and get her admitted into King George Hospital (KGH) in Visakhapatnam.

Doctors at King George Hospital after analyzing the situation confirmed she was gang rapped and that she was dead. She was the daughter of a businessman in Anakapalle and after hearing the news and the photograph of her child, the parents came to know of the incident and immediately left for Visakhapatnam and identified that it was their daughter. On receipt of information, the Sub Inspector of Anakapalle went to Visakhapatnam and began investigation.

Another version of the news came up in some of the news papers that the girl was accidentially hit by a train as was returning back from a friend's house at the railway track.
