Musical fountains back at VUDA Park

Visakhapatnam, November 21, 2004

Musical fountain and waterfalls are back gain for public view at the VUDA Park after MGM group of companies gave a new look to the facilities. According to a release issued by the VUDA, though the park will remain open at 10.30am, the musical fountain plaza show will be held daily from 6pm to 8pm. The plaza is the first of its kind in the city.

Artificial limbs distributed by BVP

The Ukkunagaram branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad has distributed on Sunday artificial limbs to 46 physically challenged persons identified in a screening camp held in September. SV Adinarayana Rao and Sasiprabha of Prema Hospitals who were the chief guests gave away the limbs and calipers.

Huts gutted near Madhurawada

Visakhapatnam, November 21, 2004

More than ninety huts were gutted in a fire accident at Suddigatla near WAMBAY Colony at Madhurawada on Sunday afternoon. According to fire department sources, a fire that emanated from a tea stall lead to the accident. The estimated loss due to fire accident is about Rs.4 lakhs.
