An ATM of Andhra Bank was inaugurated at its Visakhapatnam Port Trust branch by the Port Chairman K.Ratna Kishore on Wednesday. The national seminar inaugurated at the chemical engineering studies in the Andhra University Engineering College, he said there were a lot of opportunities for the chemical engineering students and they could avail the same by improving their skills. Memorandum to Steel Secretary

Representatives of various trade unions of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant met the Steel Secretary, Manoranjan during his visit to the plant on Wednesday and submitted memoranda seeking solution to their grievances. The Visakha Steel Employees Congress, the recognized trade union, demanded expansion of the plant's capacity upto ten million tonnes, sanctioning of captive iron ore and coal mines, allotment of house sites to employees, provision of employment to displaced persons and promotion of staff in all categories.
