Workshop on Human Rights
Visakhapatnam, November 9, 2004

The Principal District Judge, N.Vidya Prasad said on Monday while addressing a workshop on human rights organized jointly by the City Police Commissionerate and the District Legal Services Authority appreciated the concern of the City Police administration towards human rights and felt that better results could be achieved if some defects in the system were rectified.

The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, MSR Murty, urged the police to be cautious in ensuring human rights since they were the fundamental rights of the Constitution that accorded to the citizens. The Commissioner of Police, B.Prasada Rao presided over the function.
