IT Company raided

Another IT company named GKL Collections situated at Dwarakanagar and arrested Sunitha Maharana by the Fourth Town Police. According to the preliminary investigation, she had collected Rs 6000 from each of 239 candidates entrusting them data entry work.

The firm having its headquarters in Jaipur opened the local branch in August this. Circle Inspector Eshaq Mohammed swooped on the firm on Wednesday night and sealed the office and on Thursday morning, he interrogated Sunitha and arrested her.

She was produced in the court and remanded in judicial custody. The police informed the ICICI branches to freeze the company accounts. He said a team of police would visit Jaipur to investigate the case.

The event manager Srinivas of Moon Power on Thursday said it is going to be funfilled night for family and youth. A senior dance team of 'Agni' from Kolakata would perform the dance numbers on her songs.

National awards for SSIs

The Ministry of Small scale Industries has introduced National Awards scheme. The awards are granted to the deserving entrepreneurs who have been in continuous production at least for the last four years. The applications can be submitted to the Director, Small Scale Industries Services Institute, Narasapur Crossroad, Balanagar, Hyderabad on or before 30th of this month. Pulse Polio from November 21st
Visakhapatnam, November 11, 2004

Speaking to the reporters on Thursday, the Joint director Mother and Child Welfare department R.Gopalakrishna said extensive pulse polio programme would be taken up in the district from November 21st. The programme would cover nearly 4.5 lakh children in the district.

He said there would be 3148 booths out of which 479 in the city, 1433 in villages and 1236 in the Agency areas. The joint director said nearly 12528 staff were appointed for administering the vaccine lead by 366 supervisors, 73 mobile teams and 50 transit teams.

Apart from pulse polio, a massive campaign against HIV and AIDS being organized in all the schools in the district, according to the nodal officer, P.Rajendraprasad.
