Telecom software by Dialabs

Visakhapatnam, November 4, 2004

DialabsDialabs, a software firm in the Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone has developed eight telecom software products. The products are in the areas of the interactive voice response, voice messaging, customer resource management, computer telehonony integration, SMS and Voice over Internet Protocol.

These products were launched at the VSEZ on Thursday in the presence of the VSEZ Development Commissioner.P.Ramesh Kumar.

Fake policemen held

Three persons who impersonated as p0licemen were arrested by the Two town Police on the charges of impersonation, abduction for rape, outraging the modesty of a woman and extortation. The Two town Circle Inspector, KV Ramana Murty is investigating the case.

Yeluru Scam
Visakhapatnam, November 4, 2004

Nearly seventy percent of the inquiry into Yeluru and other land compensation scams has been completed before it was wound up nearly five years ago said the Justice (retired) of Karnataka High Court, BK Somasekhara who resumed the inquiry with a two day sitting here on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Commission would submit its interim report to the Assembly. In an informal chat with the media persons, the Commission would conduct another preliminary inquiry in Hyderabad during the third week of this month. He said video conferences would be arranged for those who would not be able to attend the Commission’s sittings and there were also plans to link the proceeds to TV Channels live.
