Vedic Seva Trust opens Free eye clinic at Seethammadara
Visakhapatnam, July 11, 2004

A free eye clinic was opened on Sunday by the Vedic Seva Trust at the Sri Shirdi Saibaba Spiritual Centre at Seethammadara. Former Superintendent of the Government Regional Eye Hospital, Kurnool, K.Bhaskararao, who is in charge of the clinic, examined the patients.

The clinic would be run every Thursday between 6pm to 8pm.

The Revolutionary writers' Association executive member has asked the State Government to set up a committee comprising human rights activists and others to enforce the ceasefire announced by the both the parties.

He said, while speaking with the reporters here, he expressed his displeasure over the delay in constituting a monitoring committee which he said could address to hitches if any in the enforcement of ceasefire. He commented that a section of police are making efforts to sabotage talks.
