Nursing College student attempts to commit suicide
Visakhapatnam, July 19, 2004

A first year student of a private nursing college in VUDA colony of Madhavadara allegedly attempted to commit suicide on Monday by jumping from her college building unable to bear the harassment her lecturer was allegedly subjecting her. According to police, one of the lecturers of the college was harassing the girl by abusing and heaping insults on her. A case under sections 309 and 109 of the IPC was booked and the police are investigating the case.

DIHM to announce two more courses
