GITAM College lecturer found dead

T.Sivaramakrishna Kishore who is working as lecturer in GITAM College was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his house in Allipuram on Thursday. The cause of the death was not known as none was present in the house.
Joint Action Committee demands immediate recall of VC

The Joint Action Committee for Protection of Andhra University has felt that there is no need for another inquiry into the campus affairs and demanded immediate recall of the Vice-Chancellor, YC Simhadri.The JAC convener S.Surappadu said on Thursday that the proposed inquiry by an IAS officer was not necessary since a good number of Ministers and MLAs had represented to the Government for the recall of the VC.
