RTC starts a Package Tours to Tirupathi
Visakhapatnam, July 6, 2004

The Regional Manager, D.Satyanarayana told newspersons that they are planning to introduce Volvo Garuda bus service between Visakhapatnam to Tirupati soon and conduct a package tour with the help of Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam.

He said that arrangements are being made to run special buses to Vijayawada during the Krishna Pushakarams from July 28th August. Nearly 20 special buses would be operated from Visakhapatnam, Anakapalle and Narsipatnam. In addition to the above, package trip also would be conducted at a cost of Rs.350/- per head for a minimum batch of 40 pilgrims.

The Chief of the Naval Staff, Mahhvendra Singh, is visiting a three day visit to the Eastern Naval Command from Wednesday. During his stay, he would visit various naval establishments.
