State Ranking Table Tennis Tournaments begins at Swarna Bharathi Indoor Stadium
Visakhapatnam, July 29, 2004

The four day State Ranking Table Tennis Tournaments began at the Swarna Bharathi Indoor Stadium today. The tournament was declared open by the Visakhapatnam District Table Tennis Association Chief Patron and MLA from Chodavram Mr. Gantha Srinivasa Rao while former MLA PVGR Naidu (Gana babu) was the chief guest. The competitions will be for 4 days.

Proposal for development of Eco Tourism at Vizag Zoo Park
Visakhapatnam, July 29, 2004

Proposals are being drawn for the development of the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park at a cost of Rs.3.5 crores. This was stated by Director for Eco Tourism - S Balakrishna. A part of the 625 acres of land allocated for the Zoo will be used for the development of Eco Tourism in the region. The Zoo will get new facilities including a train and more shelters apart from greenery in the open grounds.
