The Director (Personnel) of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, C.Apparao retired on Friday on attaining superannuation. He joined the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant in 1985 and held various important positions including acting CMD for a while.

PF Adalat

The sub regional office of Employees Provident Fund Organization will conduct a ‘Bhavishya Nidhi Adalat' on January 10th on its premises in Marripalem. EPF subscribers under the jurisdiction of the office covering Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts may address their grievances to the Assistant Commissioner of PF (coordination) K.Subramanyam, superscribing ‘Bhavishya Nidhi Adalat' on the envelope on or before 6th January.

Flights for Saturday cancelled

Indian Airlines has announced the cancellation of all its flights of Saturday arriving at and departing from Visakhapatnam in view of the Government's decision to utilize the aircraft for evacuating tsunami hit people in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
