The Chairman of Satyam Computer Services Limited B.Ramalinga Raju on Wednesday said Visakhapatnam had bright scope for development as a hub for business process outsourcing. He was speaking with the reporters' before inaugurating advanced programming and Linux labs at Raghu Engineering College at Bheemunipatnam. The advanced computer programming lab is connected to 1000 MBPS LAN loaded with Windows XP/2003 system software and visual studio. Arrangements in full swing for Margasira month

Sri Kanaka Mahalakshmi Ammavari margasira month celebrations are in full swing. The Executive Officer of the Devalayam Sri Kondalarao held a meeting with the officials of the different wings for smooth and peaceful celebrations due to heavy rush of devotees who will have darshan of Ammavaru during the period from December 13th to January 10th. On these auscipicious days, hectic arrangements are being made not to give any scope for any inconvenience to the devotees for their smooth darshan. Every Friday one lakh kumkumarchana will be performed to Ammavaru during this month.. Meeting of Peethadhipathis

A meeting of Hindu Peethadhipathis and sadhus will be held in Hyderabad in January to discuss the issue of the arrest of the Kanchi seer, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi. Sri Sarada Peetam chief Swami Swaroopanandendra Saraswathi speaking to reports said the strength and support of Viswa Hindu Parishad, RSS and other organizations was not adequate to give momentum to a Hindu awakening which was need of the hour. Airport works reviewed

The Chief Secretary, Mohan Kanda on Wednesday reviewed the expansion works of airport. He directed the officials to complete the works as scheduled since a longer runway, night landing and other facilities at the airport were crucial in augment the growth of the city. The General Manager of the Airports Authority of India HS Suresh informed him that 32 per cent of the 191.52 crores project had been completed so far. The work on the integrated terminal building of the AAI would commence in six months. The State Government and the AAI are contributing Rs25 crores each while the rest by the Defence Ministry. The District Collector, Joint Collector, Municipal Commissioner and other officials were present in the meeting.
