BSNL extends services at its Santhipuram Center

The customer service centre of BSNL at Santhipuram will from now onwards accept only telephone bills and provide telegraph services. Other services like provision of new telephone connections, shifting of phones and provision of call ID have been shifted to the customer service centre at Dabagardens according to the Deputy General Manager, M.Nagesh Rao. Minimum wages

The Government has revised minimum wages of workers in agriculture and in the manufacture of paper, paper board and hand made paper. The revision for the agriculture sector will be effective from 7th August and for the paper industry September 1st according to the Deputy Commissioner of Labour MN Varahala Reddy. Mala Mahanadu plans protest

The Mala Mahanadu State president, PV Rao told press reporters on Friday that the organization had set Saturday as the deadline for the State Government to issue a GO Subsequent to the apex court judgment. Mala Mahanadu has chalked out a series of protests beginning with a rail and Rasta roko on Monday. Asserting that the Mala Mahanadu was preparing for a long drawn out agitation he said that Monday's protest would be followed by a meeting of student leaders from universities all over the State in Hyderabad of 5th January. In the second week of January, Mala Mahanadu representatives will meet leaders of all representatives will meet leaders of all political parties and appeal to them to oppose sub classification.
