Pre-Paid services from Tata Teleservices

Visakhapatnam, August 19, 2004

The Tata Teleservices will soon launch its pre-paid mobile service and has plans to expand its coverage in 166 towns from 56 towns in the State by March next according to its chief operating officer.

He said in a press conference that the expansion will give the customers a better access and enhance roaming facility.

Mahindra's new workshop

Visakhapatnam, August 19, 2004

A state of the art workshop for the Mahindra range of vehicles was opened on Thursday at the Automotive Manufactures premises in Maddilapalem. The Municipal Commissioner, N.Srikanth inaugurated the workshop which has computerized wheel alignment and wheel balancing, four post lift, headlight focusing equipment and AC recovery unit besides several services.

Tagore - Evening News paper inaugurated

Visakhapatnam, August 19, 2004

The new evening news paper 'Tagore' was launched in the city on Thursday. Swami Swaroopanandendra Saraswathi of Sarada Peetham in Chinamushidivada released the first copy. MLAs Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Tippala Gurumurty Reddy, Gandi Babji and Karri Sitaram attended the inaugural function. The editor VS Anand welcomed the gathering.
