Visakhapatnam, August 9, 2004

A public awareness programme on cleanliness, "Mana Illu - Mana Nagaram" was launched by the Global Welfare Society formally inaugurated by the Municipal Commissioner, N.Srikanth by releasing pamphlets. The District Youth Welfare Officer, VN Rao and the society president P.Narasinga Rao and others spoke on the occasion.

Seminar on Finance Bill

The Institute of Cost and Works Accounts of India local chapter on Sunday organized a seminar on 'Finance Bill-2004 proposals'. Speaking on the occasion, the noted auditor, VSN Murty said the budget proposals were in the right direction but there was a mismatch in some areas between the objects set and the allocations made.

Aid given to victims of hill-top accident
