CPI wants L & T project to be scrapped
Visakhapatnam, August 31, 2004

The city council of the Communist Party of India on Tuesday asked the State Government to scrap the agreement signed with the Larsen and Toubro for execution of the Godavari water diversion project. The CPI Secretary of the city council Ch.Raghavendra Rao told reports that the Chief Minister, YS.Rajasekhara Reddy and the Minister for Commercial taxes, Konatala Ramakrishna should keep their pre-pool promises to review the project in larger interests of the people.

Train services have been rescheduled with effect from Wednesday at Visakapatnam Junction on the Waltair Division of the East Coast Railway according to a statement.

6323 Trivandrum-Howrah Express bi-weekly: Arrival 11.15pm and Dep.11.35am on Saturdays and Mondays

6357 Nagercoil-Howrah Express weekly: Arrival 11.15pm and Departure 11.35pm on Tuesdays

5623 Ernakulam-Guwahati Express weekly: Arrival 11.15pm and Departure 11.35pm on Wednesdays.

6309 Ernakulam-Patna Express bi-weekly: Arrival 8.35pm and Departure 8.55pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

6310 Patna – Ernakulam Express bi-weekly: Arrival 2.50pm and departure 3.10pm on Fridays
