Counseling of ICET from August 9th
Visakhapatnam, August 7, 2004

Admissions into the MBA and MCA courses in the colleges under the jurisdiction of Andhra University based on the rank in the ICET 2004 will be held from 9th August at the Convocation Hall, Andhra University Campus from August 9th to 19th.

Nearly 4530 seats in both the courses, admission would be made for 1689 seats in MBA and 1979 seats in MCA in the AU campus colleges in the jurisdiction. Rest of the seats fall under fifteen percent quota in affiliated colleges left to the managements to be filled under NRI quota and minority colleges.

VUDA releases black list of Real estate developers in Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam, August 7, 2004

The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) has blacklisted five real estate firms and developers for allegedly cheating land buyers by not adhering to its guidelines. The blacklisted real estate firms/developers are prohibited from undertaking any activity within the purview of the VUDA. The Commissioners of municipalities, local authorities, the district panchayat officers and district registrars have been requested not to entertain them.
