Kavitha's murder mystery unfolded
Visakhapatnam, April 29, 2004

The mystery behind the murder of Kavitha that took place on 21st of this month was unfolded by the city police. It was already known that Kavitha, wife of a tutor in Andhra Medical College was murdered. It was said that Kavitha has developed illicit relationship with Guru Prasad, owner of Sri Sampath Watches and Gift Articles shop. Kavitha left her husband and two children and started living with Guru Prasad.

In due course financial disputes arised between them. In this context Guru Prasad plotted for Kavitha's murder. He arrangedSuvvada Mahesh and Suvvada Sreenu to eliminate her. As per the plot Mahesh and his brother Sreenu went to Sankaram railway gate in an auto and purchased two knives. On 21st April Moyya Kanaka Raju, Mahesh, Kothalanka Siva Santhosh Raju entered into the shop of Guru Prasad which was being looked after by Kavitha in the former's absence.

The trio stabbed her indiscriminately on her stomach, ribs and her hands and slitted her throat, causing her death. The city police arrested all the four of them. They revelaed the involvement of Guru Prasad in the conspiracy who is absconding currently.
