Vice Chancellor of Andhra Universiry releases handbook of Kesari Degree College
Andhra University, Visakhapatnam 7 September 2002 
Vice Chancellor of Andhra University Prof. YC Simhadri has released a book entitled “Kesari Degree College – Handbook and Souvenir of Rajahmundy” at a meeting held at the Andhra University Council Hall. Speaking at the program, the VC congratulated at the efforts put up by the college that began with just 23 students. He reminded that Rajahmundry was a place of the ‘Aadi Kavi’ (First of the Telugu Poetry) Sri Nannayya and the relations of former Vice Chancellor of Andhra University Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishna. The College is offering Intermediate and Graduate courses and requested for permission to offer Post Graduate Courses as well. Secretary of the College Mr. Putcha Krishna Murthy, Treasurer Mr. JVS Poornanda Rao, Chairman of the Junior College Mr. MVR Chiranjeevi, Treasurer of the Junior College Mr. Jammi Rama Rao, In-charge Principal of the Degree College Mr. Ch Jogi Naidu, Officer on Special Duty Prof. SV Sudhakar, PRO of AU Dr. C Ramakrishna, Professor at Andhra University Prof. Yeti Raja Rao and others took part in the meet. Founder of the College – Sri YS Narasimha Rao presented a memento to the Vice Chancellor.
