The 8th issue of GITAM Journal of Management was released at the program. The bi-annual journal deals with a wide range of topics on management studies and is contributed by eminent academicians and from the industry from places such as the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Bangladesh and Denmark. Inaugurated 4 years ago, the first edition was released by Prof. Simhadri, Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University.

Prof. Gangadhar Rao said that the journal reflects and deals with some of the important components that influence the Higher Education and this is a step towards reflection of quality and Endeavour of GITAM. The journal will turn quarterly starting the January 2007 edition.

The 8th issue of GITAM Journal of Management (ISSN 0972-740X) Volume 4 Number 2, July - December 2006 issue is comprised of Research Papers on Management Topics along regular sections such as Communications, Student Articles, Case Studies, Research Abstracts, Book Review, Doctoral Dissertations and a Bibliography on the topic - Business Interlligence
