Says Airliners already enjoy tax concession
The President of the Air Travelers Association of India (ATAI) D Varada Reddy said that the association is opposing the proposed air fare hike. It may be recalled few scheduled airliners have recently announced plans to hike the air fare in view of the increase in the rate of air turbine fuel (ATF).
Speaking with the press, Varada Reddy reminded that the airliners operating in the state already enjoy a tax concession and the air fare hike is not justified.
