Cell phones worth over Rs.2 lakhs and cash Rs.30,000 robbed

According to police sources, a robbery took place on Saturday night in a cell phone shop and the robbers made good away with cell phones worth over Rs.2 lakhs and cash of Rs.30,000.

The sources said that the incident took place in GVR Mobile Shop situated near Madhurawada Highway bridge. The owner of the shop G Venkataramana, closed the shop on Saturday as usual and on when he came to the shop on Sunday morning to open the shop, he found that the shop was looted.

Immediately, he informed the police and the Circle Inspector, Deva Prasasd rushed the scene of offence. The Madhurawada Sub Inspector Satyanaryana investigating the case.
