Three Town Police registers a case of negligence against the Hospital

A man jumped to his death from the top floor of a corporate hospital building at Ramnagar on Monday. KBVR Naik, an employee of Survey of India was psychologically upset over his friend who died in a road accident a few days ago. He allegedly tried to kill himself by inflicting cuts on his body and was admitted to a private hospital for treatment.

On Monday morning after his son left the room to bring him tea, he came out of the hospital room and jumped to the ground floor. The body was shifted to the KGH for post-mortem. Meanwhile, activists of various people’s organization went to the private hospital and staged a dharna alleging lack of security as the cause of death and demanded compensation to the victim’s family.

Three Town Sub Inspector, Siva Prasad said a case of negligence was registered against the hospital authorities and action would be initiated after an enquiry.
