Chief Minister lays foundation stone for VUDA projects

VUDA plans to develop roads, drainage, parks, electrical cable system etc.,

The Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy laid the foundation stones for various projects of Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority as a part of public private partnership including the land-pooling project at Paradesipalem, the shopping mall at VUDA office and International Standards School at Madhurawada. The land-pooling project aims at developing integrated layouts in 338 acres comprising 213 acre government land and 125 acres private lands.

VUDA will develop infrastructure facilities including roads, underground drainage, parks, open grounds, electrical cable system and green belt along with police, fire and bus stations, hospital and other shopping facilities. The shopping complex is being developed by the VUDA and Vaibhav Skyscrapers on build-operate-transfer system in 6,450 sq.ft area with a Rs.20 crore. The six floored building with cellar and sub-cellar parking will have shops, showrooms, food courts, multipurpose hall and other facilities.

The International standard school being developed by Chaitanya Educational Society with Rs.22 crore in five acres provided by VUDA would accommodate 1,000 students. It house facilities like e-learning class rooms, digital library, yoga-health care system, swimming pol etc.,
