The officials of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested two enforcement officers of Employees Provident fund (EPF) office in Kakinada when they demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs.20,000 from one K Lovaraju in East Godavari district.

The CBI officials from Visakhapatnam arrested the enforcement officers DVSN Gupta and Kamaraju and took up further investigation. The duo are learnt to have demanded and accepted the bribe from Sri Sai Vidyaniketan High School administrative officer K Lova Raju.

According to sources, the two officials allegedly threatened to initiate investigation to recover the EPF dues of previous years in case of failure to pay bribe.
