Dattatreya hits at ryots emancipation

The Bharatiya Janata Party would launch 'Rythu Bata' at Guntur on February 4, 2008 to fight for the farmers facing problems under the Congress government rule. Speaking to media here, he said that the BJP State President, Bandaru Dattatreya said that his party was committed to work for the welfare and take up various issues pertaining to farmers.

He said that the government was making many promises but failed to implement them. He charged the government for cheating Telangana Region people by promising Second State Revision (SRC). He opined that there is no need to for a second SRC if the government is committed fro form separate Telangana.

He said that only BJP can give a statehood for Telangana and were launching a signature campaign to gather support in this connection. The Congress leaders should meet the people to learn the real political scenario in the State. He said that the people had lost faith on the Congress government.
