One of the alleged youth believed to be involved in several crimes
On Friday night, a 19-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped by three youths in KRM Colony. The victim, a resident of Chittibabu colony in Kancharapalem limits came to fifth town police station late in the night along with her parents and lodged a complaint.
Though the incident occurred in the three town police station limits, they preferred to lodge the complaint in the Fifth Town Police station as of their residence falls in its jurisdiction.
Under the supervision of the ACP (North0 Y Prem Babu, the Circle Inspector S Venkata Rao who is investigating the case said on Saturday that Kumar, one of the accused was arrested while two others Krishna and Govinda were at large. The victim was sent to KGH for medical examination.
