Jail Superintendent informs matter to higher authorities

An inmate of Central Prison was caught by the jail authorities while using cell phone here today. According to the prison authorities, said that the prisoner, Bharat is undergoing life imprisonment on the charges of a murder for the past three years. It is understood that the he was hiding the cell phone in the bandage on the right arm.

Prison authorities say that Bharat fell in the jail bathroom four months ago and received fractures on his hand and leg. He underwent treatment at KGH for nearly two and half months and was discharged. However, he was being taken to the hospital for frequent check ups.

Jail Superintendent Narasimham said that they discovered that he was using cell phone after returning from the Hospital following a routine check up a two days ago. With the help of other inmates, he was trapped and the matter was informed to higher authorities for necessary action.
