Customers can pay bills through net banking

The Eastern Power Distribution Limited (EPDCL) has launched Electronic Bill Payment Service (EBPS) that facilitates the consumers pay the electricity bills through electronic clearing system or online banking.

The Chairman and Managing Director Lav Agarwal who inaugurated the services today said that the consumers can pay their bills online over the EPDCL website through credit cards or net banking facility. However, they have to pay for transaction charges.

Consumers of Visakhapatnam and Kakinada can avail of the facility by submitting an authorization form to EPDCL to draw the bill amount from their bank account. They can also pay the bills through EPBS facility through their banks who offer the Bill Payment System.
