Chief General Manager inaugurates retail sales

The Chief General Manager of Hyderabad Circle of the State Bank of India (SBI), RK Sharma on Thursday launched the retail sale of gold coins/ingots scheme at the Main Branch. The coins are available in 2gms., 5gms, and ingots in 10gms size. He said that these coins/ingots come with 999.9 purity in tamper proof packaging.

Sharma said that the cost of gold will be based on day to day gold market price. Speaking at the gathering, he said that the scheme was launched initially at 15 selected branches in the State and soon spread to other places depending on the response.

Sharma added that SBI is emerging as one-stop super shoppe for all financial products. Visakhapatnam Deputy General Manager, SK Chaudhuri, the Assistant General Manger of Visakhapatnam Main Branch TP Subhashini were present on the occasion.
