Applicants set to launch another agitation with CPM

The State Government's much hyped Rajiv Gruhakalpa scheme is turning out to be a jinx to APHC officials with the applicants getting ready to launch yet another agitation with CPM. The applicants will organize a public meeting on Wednesday at the district collectorate demanding sanctioning of houses to the eligible applicants.

The applicants had been registering their protest for sometime against the government's decision to sanction houses to only 4,600 of the 12,600 applicants. They also differed from official's proposal to sanction houses to the former under JNNURM scheme.

In this connection, the Housing Corporation District Manager agreed to discuss the issue with the Joint Collector and announce a final decision.
