Additional counters to sell onions

Joint Collector M Veerabrahmaiah said that the Civil Supplies Department will be opening more computers operated counters at Rythu Bazaars. He said that additional counters will be setup to sell Onions at Rs. 7 a kilo considering the huge demand and with people forming long queues for the same.

With the opening of computer operated counters at Narasimhanagar and Gopalapatnam Rythu Bazaars, the total number of such counters moves to 12. While the special onion counters sell onions at Rs. 7, other traders in the stalls at the Rythu Bazaar will sell onions at Rs. 12.5 per kg, he said
