Police rushes to the spot; Searched college premises
A bomb threat to Sri Chaitanya Junior College at NAD Kotha Road Junction has created a chaos on Monday. According to police, the college management has received an anonymous call at around 8.30 AM that a bomb was placed in the college. The management asked the students and the staff to rush out off the premises.
The college authorities immediately reported the matter to the police who rushed to the spot with bomb disposal squad and sniffer dogs and checked the entire premises and later confirmed that the call is a hoax.
The police are yet to trace the call. Meanwhile, police advised all education institutions and other organizations to install Caller ID to their telephones to make tracing telephone calls easy.
