To feature 12 hours programmes during the two-day period starting November 16
Visakhapatnam is all set to listen to some of the finest concerts this November – Thanks to the HPCL Visakha Refinery. The Bharat Cultural Integration Committee in association with the Madras Telugu Academy will celebrate its platinum jubilee and conduct the Spirit of Unity Concerts for Universal Integration at Police stadium from November 16 to 18, 2007. This is informed at a press conference on Sunday by the founder and chief convenor of the committee TVK Sastry. He said that the main aim of the event is for the promotion of national integration that is the need of the hour.
He said that this is the first time a third party is involved in organizing the programme which will witness the performance of budding and top artistes. It will be a 12 hour programme daily. The programme will be followed by Balaji Sangeet Kalyanotsav on November 18. HPCL Visakha Refinery Executive Director, AS Rao released the invitation brochure said that his organization was grateful to BCIC for giving an opportunity to host the programme.
HPCL Visakha Refiner Executive Director-designate PAB Raju promised to extend all support and co-operation to the organizers for its successful conduct. The former MP KA Swamy and vice chairman of the BCIC S Prabhakara Rao were present on the occasion.
