Visit to Gajuwaka canceled

According to sources, there are some changes made in the scheduled programme of visit of Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy to Visakhapatnam on Sunday. He is visiting the city to lay foundation stone at NTPC second phase. According to the original programme, he is to visit Gajuwaka to participate in a public meeting which was canceled.

As per the revised programme, the Chief Minister is arriving on Sunday from Tirupati and land at Visakhapatnam airport at 10.45. From there, he will proceed at 11.15 to NTPC by helicopter. He will participate in laying the foundation stone for the second phase of expansion programme between 11.15 to 12.30.

He is being accompanied by the Union Minister for Energy, Sushil Kumar Shinde. At 12.30 he will proceed to Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on road and take rest for one hour at Hill Top guest house and after lunch, he will proceed to State Capital by flight at 2.30. The district administration has made elaborate security arrangements for his visit. The administration has deployed ten deputy Collectors as in charges and in addition to these, nearly 60 vehicles for his convey.
