Match to be held on November 4 at Port stadium

Vizagites are going to witness a contest on the cricket field between Tollywood stars and reputed sports persons in a cricket match at the Port Stadium on November 4. The AP Sports Foundation and the Welfare Group of Companies are organizing the event and the proceeds will go towards establishing a sports complex for Girijan children and youth in the Visakha agency.

The Managing Director of Welfare group M Vijaya Prasad and Vineel Redddy of APSF gave details of the event at a press conference on Wednesday. D Parasuram of Sri Mitra Township private limited who is sponsoring special awards.

On the Tollywood side, the team is led by Srikanth and he has Tarun, Rajeev Kanakala, Ravi Sharma, Ayyappa Sarma, Raghu, Giri, Prabhu, Naveen, Venkat Pratap, Ajay Chand as his teammates while the APSF XI also has the exiciting batsman Ambati Rayudu, Kaushik Reddy, Niranjan Reddy, Vinay Kumar of Hyderabad, former hockey star Mukesh Kumar, badminton player Ch Anand and noted archer L Ram. The GVMC Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Meena will wield the willow for the team.
