Subsidiary Repco Home finance Ltd registers 48 percent growth

The Repatriates Cooperative Finance and Development Bank Limited (REPCO Bank) Chief Manager Biswqanmohan Das in a press release said that the bank will celebrate its 38th anniversary on November 19, 2007. To mark the occasion, the bank has resolved to strive further for the cause of repatriates from Sri Lanka and Burma for whose economic empowerment it was set up.

The release said that the bank was constituted in 1969 and in the due course, it ventured into regular banking and micro finance activities by adopting modern technology. The statement said that it has branches in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Pondicherry and also offers high rate of interest on deposits compared to other banks. The statement further stated that its subsidiary Repco Home Finance Limited registered 48 percent growth in the last financial year.
