Police seeks more time to submit report
The bigamy case against film actor Pavan Kalyan has been posted to November 2, 2007 as the police sought some more time to submit their inquiry report. The Three Town police inspector A Narasimha Murty in his deposition before the first metropolitan magistrate asked for more time to submit copies of the passport of the actor couple's son Akilanand for which they applied in the Regional Passport Office.
The copies of the passport which reportedly contained the names of Pavan and Renu Desai as the parents of Akilanand are expected to strengthen Nandini's case wherein she contended that Pavan Kalyan married Renu Desai without giving her divorce. Meanwhile, Pavan Kalyan had been refuting the charge and is yet to present his case in the court.
