Half year ending September 2007
According to a press release, the Indian Bank has recorded a net profit of Rs.459.62 crore for the half year ending September 2007 as against previous year's record of Rs.334 crore.
The total business of the bank grew by 22.24 percent fro Rs.70,316 crore to Rs.85,954 crore. The total deposits rose by Rs.9,623 crore to Rs.53,747 crore and the net credit increased by Rs.6,015 crore according to the release.
