The city is going to be the platform for showcasing the potential of India as well as Andhra Pradesh. The Holiday Expo 2007, a tourism exhibition is being organized with the support of India Tourism and the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Departments. Nearly six tourism departments will be marketing their tourist destinations showcasing the beauties of their respective tourism spots.
The important participants will include India Tourism, Star Cruises, AP Tourism, Golden Chariot from Karnataka, Chhattisgarh Tourism, MP Tourism and Gujarat Tourism. A cross section of tourism related sectors including national tourism, destination management organizations, airlines, charters, railways, cruiser liners, travel agents, hotels ad resorts, adventure clubs etc.,
