Brahmotsavam on Friday

Sri Mahalakshmi Durga Devi Navaratri Mahotsavam and Sri Padmavathisqametha Sri Prasanna Venkateswaraswami Brahmotsavam will be organized by Sri Shridi Sai Baba Spiritual Centre in Seethammadara from Friday to October 21. The founder chairman of the centre, M Ramgopal said that the daily rituals during the ten day Dasara programme include Mahalakshmi Durga Homam and abishekams to Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy, Narayanaseva, Sri Lalithasahasranama recital, cultural programmes followed by Tiruveedhi of Lord Venkateswara Ustav idol from the centre to different parts of the city.

On the final day, Sri Mahalakshmi Durga Devi utsav idol will be taken in a procession on the main throughfares of Seethammadara area. Special alankarams by experts from Chennai every day to Sri Mahalakshmi Durga Devi and Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy will be a special feature.
