MLA still not traceable and learnt to have approached High Court
It may be recalled that a non bailable warrant was issued against the TDP MLA Chengala Venkata Rao who was responsible for a clash in Bangarampeta Fishermen clash case. He field an anticipatory bail petition in the District Court on Tuesday by his lawyer. The Case was posted to Friday.
The court took up the case on Friday and after hearing the arguments rejects the bail petition of Chengala Venkata Rao. According to reliable sources, the MLA is trying to appeal to High Court for seeking anticipatory bail. The police are on the look out for him to arrest acting on the Court's order.
After the Non bailable warrant was issued by the court, he went underground and not traceable. However, he spoke to media in the first two days and later switched off his cell phone and the where abouts are not known. Meanwhile, the police arrested nearly 30 persons who were involved in the clash in Payakaraopet and Nakkapalli mandal.
