Silent rally taken out from LIC building against the murder of Bank Manager
United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) took out a silent rally from the LIC building to the Collectorate on Monday condemning the murder of the Chief Manager of State Bank of Indore, KK Prasad. The rally culminated in a joint meeting of the UFBU leaders at the State Bank of Hyderabad Zonal Office in which they decided to send a memorandum to Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh through the District Collector on Wednesday.
They appreciated the prompt response of the police on the complaint of the family members of the victim and demand a job to Prasad's wife in the bank on compassionate grounds. In a separate statement, Centre of Indian Trade Unions district committee secretary, A Ajay Sarma demanded action against all the accused in the case.
