ENC to conduct Navy Week celebrations

The Eastern Naval Command as part of the Navy Week-2007 will conduct a painting competition on November 18 in which nearly 1,000 students are expected to participate. The other events of the Navy Week include the ENC and performance at Shivaji Park on November 18, visit to Naval ships for special children on November 20, 'a day at sea' for children and media personnel on November 21 in addition to the Navy Mela from November 23 to 25.

Two ships and a submarine will be open to students on November 23 and for the general public on November 24 and 25. The 'Operation display' by ships and aircraft off RK Beach is being planned for the Navy day on December 4 according to release.
