Rs.3.50 lakh worth of iron items looted

Taking advantage of the failure of security system in the Coramandal Fertilizers Limited, some unidentified persons made good away worth of Rs.3.50 lakhs parts. It is suspected that the stolen SS Dicks, SS Valves were stolen through a hired Gipsam lorry. The stolen property was found at an scrap iron shop and on knowing about the incident, the management, handed over the scrap iron merchant and persons involved in the operation to the Malkapuram police.

Based on a report by the Coramandal Fertilizers Management, the Malkapuram police registered a case and interrogation is going on the persons handed over to the police. Meanwhile, some organizations claimed that some elements are trying to protect the lorry owner.
